Spanish for Spain and Latin America

Learn Spanish with an app that knows what you're about to forget

Duendillo keeps track of every word and grammar rule you learn, predicts when each one will start to fade, and brings it back just in time. Short lessons, unlimited practice, explanations in your language.

Free during early access. No sign-up needed yet.

How it works

It learns how you learn

Two models work behind every session. You never see the maths — only the right exercise at the right moment.

  • It knows what you know

Every answer updates an estimate of each grammar skill. Topics you have mastered step aside; the shaky ones come back more often.

  • It predicts forgetting

Each word has its own memory curve. Duendillo schedules a review for the moment you are about to forget it — not a day too early, not a week too late.

  • It keeps the right pace

Exercises are picked so that you succeed most of the time but still have to think. New words arrive at the pace you choose.

How it works in detail
The memory of one word over a month: without reviews it fades; each review brings it back, and then it fades more slowly.
Why we forget words — and how spaced repetition helps

Try it: three questions

This is how exercises feel in the app: instant feedback, forgiving with typos, strict where an accent changes the meaning.
