How to compare
Spanish does not add endings like English “-er” or “-est”. It puts words around the adjective:
- more / less: más or menos + adjective + que;
- as … as: tan + adjective + como;
- the most: el / la / los / las + (noun) + más + adjective + de.
The adjective still agrees with the noun: Mis hermanas son más altas que yo.
